Calling On Higher Powers

David Rhoades

I belong to a national organization, that has a local speaking club, where all the members practice speaking. Each meeting is preceded by an invocation and a pledge of allegiance to the flag.

At one of our last meetings, as everyone bowed their heads for a prayer, the person responsible for the invocation, announced he was reading a passage from Rick Warren's book, (from Saddleback church) instead of leading a prayer.

Wow, that woke me up!

This got me to thinking about the word "invocation". I always thought it was a prayer. So, I looked the word up and these are some of the definitions I came up with;

1. an incantation used in conjuring or summoning a devil
2. conjuring: calling up a spirit or devil
3. The bringing of a divine power from the exterior into a ritual or magickal working through chant or prayer. An invocation is generally an acknowledgement of the deity and a request that they be present for the working.
4. The ritual "calling-in" of an entity (or energies) higher than human, either for communication with the caller through a medium or by visible manifestation or else to enter into a human body as in the Drawing Down the Moon. In some traditions, a Prayer.
5. The prayer preceding each daily session of a legislative body.
6. To call Spirit into a circle, ritual, rite or magickal working.
7. An arcane craft that involves calling upon a vastly powerful supernatural entity, often an elemental or demon of near-godlike stature, to channel a spell or power through themselves. Similar in nature to clerical magic, but more powerful and far more random in practical use.

After reading these definitions, I realized I had been wrong! The word invocation doesn't mean a prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ, it means a prayer to who ever you think it's to.

If you are a Muslim then it's to Mohammed, if your a Hindu it's to Buda, if you are a Luciferian, it's to Lucifer, and if you are an uninformed Christian, then you think it's to the God of the Bible.

It's kind of kin to the "moment of silence" being practiced in gatherings now, instead of a prayer to the Christian God through Jesus.

What tipped me off was this listing;
The Great Invocation

Here is a verse from the "Great Invocation";

"From the point of Love within the Heart of God Let love stream forth into the hearts of men. May Christ return to Earth."

You see, you would bow your head to this prayer, and think it was lovely. The problem is, this prayer is to Lucifer. Notice how they steal the name of God and Christ.

It turns out the "Great Invocation" is published by The Lucis Trust (formerly the Lucifer Publishing Company). It's a company originally founded by Alice Bailey to publish her writings from her spirit guide. Now the company publishes materials for use in you children's school through the United Nations programs.

I am convenced that the word "invocation" is another one of those coded words like "unity" and "diversity" that's being secretly imposed on us sleeping sheep.

We are now being "unified", "diversified" and "invocated" into the "New World Order"

Do you feel anything yet?

Numb and dumb is where they want us.
