How To Convert The Church Of Christ And The Word Of God
To A Community Church With Words Of This World
How To Warn Others If You Dare

"This is a brilliant plan. Only "the prince of this world" could have kept this plan moving forward over thousands of years, and still keep it secret from most"

David Rhoades

It was my original goal to write an article with a list of the signs by which one could detect the secret workings within a church of the "Community Church Movement". Not long after I began my work, I realized that each of these signs needed more detail than could be afforded in a normal article. This project was beginning to look more like a book. As slow as I am, I realized we did not have time for me to finish a book.
This article will be broken up into different parts. Each part will describe a different recognizable sign so you can tell if your congregation has been infiltrated by the "Community Church Movement" We will begin with Part 1, which is the most important, and continue later with the other parts. Each part will appear here in the approximate order that they will appear in your church.

Lurking within today's church are those that profess to "Love Thy Neighbor More than Thyself". These people will stress love and all the key ingredients you would expect from a warm Christian; but, behind that facade is a cold and calculating wolf that only has the desire to steal the church building from the widows.

The Bible warns us about these people. They could have easily formed their own church, but they have chosen to take yours. They meet in secret among themselves. They read books and attend seminars that teach them how to practice their charade against their own members. Something evil is astir here.

These wolves have become so brazen that they have begun to run in packs for all to see. They are taking over the Christian schools, and churches. Those that dare to stand in their way will be ridiculed and belittled as troublemakers and accused of being sources of division within the church.

How can those that standup for truth be called dividers? Why is it that the "Change Agents" can't see the reflection of the dividers image in the mirror? Have they been deceived?

The church Elders will roll out a whole bevy of changes each with their own catch terms, or names and each almost identical to what's used by other "Change Agents" across the country. "Corporate Worship", "Unity In Diversity", "Shepherds", "Worship Leaders", "Covenants", "Small Groups", "Classes 101,102, 103", "Praise Teams".

When confronted or asked about the changes taking place in the church, The Elder's (Shepherd's) common response is first one of denial, then they will accuse YOU of division. Many will say; "If you don't like it, then leave"

If you haven't guessed yet, we are not talking about something Holy here. In my humble opinion, this process is straight from Hell. It's been planned for a long time. We are now living in an era that is seeing the result of the seeds sown thousands of years ago.

The First Thing The Change Agents Will Do Is Promote A New Bible

One of the main hinge pins in the success of the "Community Church Movement" was initiated 2000 years ago, and is bringing to bear it's full impact today. The "Community Church Movement" has had prepared for them a special Bible.

If I asked you if you believe the below Bible verse, how would you answer?

Psalm 12:6,7 "The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them from this generation forever."

If your answer is that you believe that verse to be the word of God and therefore true, how do you square that with modern Bible versions like the NIV, NKVJ, And the NASB that don't agree with the original King James Authorized Version. Nor do the modern versions agree with each other.

Does that sound like "pure words", "purified seven times"?

You see, once you were convinced that the modern Bible versions offered you a better modern translation, then you were also convinced the Bible is fallible. And once you have fallen for this trick, given up your King James because it's too hard to read, then you are ready for trick number 2.

Once you are convinced the Bible is fallible and can be translated in a number of ways, then the door is open for the "Community Church Movement" to convince you that they interpret the Bible differently. I have heard them say it; "You interpret it your way, we will interpret it ours" I have also heard them claim that the Bible was written by uninspired men, and claim it has mistakes.

They will say, certainly if uninspired men can translate the Bible in different ways, we can now interpret it in different ways as well. Now they will show you why Baptism isn't necessary, why Praise teams and instruments are OK in Worship, why divorce and homosexuality is not as bad as you thought, and eventually why anything goes.

It's no wonder that one of the first things "Community Church Movement" planters try to do is plant a new Bible. They will do this by having the preacher use and recommend the modern Bible (Preferably the NIV). If that won't work initially then they will plant copies in the pews and use them in Sunday School classes where they can. It's really no wonder why the NIV is the official Bible for Willowcreek, Saddleback, and the entire "Community Church Movement"

There are good and Godly people out there that will tell you I don't know what I'm talking about. If you don't study this for yourself, then you are going to believe them. Their mistake is not studying this for themselves.

You must be knowledgeable enough to believe that the King James Bible (Authorized) is the word of God. You need to know from personal study that there are NO mistakes in the King James Bible.

Once you study the history of the Bible, you will be amazed why you didn't know this before, and even more amazed why everyone doesn't know it. You will recognize Satan's systematic and regular attacks on the word of God, and even more important you will recognize those making the attacks for whom they are.

Wrap yourself in this true story and history of the Bible. has prepared a research paper for you to read online or to print and read later. This research paper has references for your further study. Please don't trust this paper or any other paper unless you have tested it yourself. Don't listen to anyone on this until you have studied it. You will be glad you did.

A takeover of the Eldership of the church is an important step in changing the church. This is generally accomplished by the "Community Church Movement" in one of two ways.

Many churches, and especially Churches of Christ, don't have Elder affirmation or elections. The traditional method at some churches is for the Elders to put names under consideration to be Elders, before the congregation. If any of the members have a problem with any of the nominees, then this gives that member or members a chance to confront the individual nominee directly and privately about their concerns. If the problem is not resolved between the two of them, then it would typically be expected that the nominee would withdraw his name from consideration or the problem would be taken up with the eldership. This has traditionally been close to the way Elders have been chosen.

The first things you will notice when infiltrated by "Change Agents" is that they have no scruples about not honoring God's doctrine, which is a scriptural process. (Acts 1,12:26) They are here to "change", and change is what you are going to get.

They will typically ignore any concerns about elder nominees brought up by concerned members; or they will change the process to one where the nominees are presented as already chosen new elders. At that point, they will say ?if any one has a problem with any of these let us know.? Well, it?s now a little too late. The process of removing a chosen Elder is nasty, compared with not choosing one to begin with. Now what they have done is locked the membership out of any decision process in choosing new Elders, which is unscriptural.

    Acts 1:26 (KJV)
    And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias;
and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
Some churches use an election or affirmation process, which is then reaffirmed ever so often. The "Change Agents" don't like this democratic and "unholy" process at all and will work to change it.

A quote from an email received at ConcernedMembers:

"I must admit that I have had a change of heart about the election of officers here. From his arrival, our former minister assailed this "democratic" method of selecting elders as unscriptural. For a while, he had me convinced. I, now, believe that there must be some kind of accountability on the part of our church leaders. Also, election is not unscriptural, as it was the method used to choose the replacement for Judas Iscariot in Acts chapter 1."
The "Change Agent" will try to get any affirmation process changed to a process where only the Elders appoint new Elders.

Neither of the above processes are fast enough for the typical "Change Agent." So, what they will try to do is increase the number of Elders by as much as 1/3. Let's say the church has 10 Elders. It's not unusual for the "Change Agent" to want to raise the number of Elders to 15.

The "Change Agent" will provide all the justification as to the necessity of this action. They will say, "The more Elders we have, the better we will be able to serve our members". "If we are to bring on new members, then we must have an adequate number of Elders".

To the average humble and Godly Shepherd, there seems to be no harm...

SMALL GROUPS, CLASSES 101,102, & 103

The "Change Agents" will call these "Discipleship Tools." These programs will go by different names. Sometimes the "Change Agent" will reach into the Bible and come up with one that sounds Biblical like "Living Stones." Actually, these tools have more to do with training for command and control than they do for training "Disciples for Christ."

Once a member joins the "Change Agent's" church, they will be introduced to a bevy of "small group" programs like: "accountability" groups, "social ministries," "career development ministries," and "youth ministries."

These tools are meant to keep the member active through peer pressure and to bond the member to everyone else, so they won't leave. Once enrolled, the member's performance and attendance will be tracked and scored. Their tithing will be evaluated with their income, so there will be no slacking here.

Here is an example of peer pressure as reported in a local Church of Christ paper.

" ..................... had everyone gather in groups of four. His task was to explain the next part of the gathering-Care Time. With a large congregation, it is very important for everyone to feel attached " to share needs with each other " He suggested that at every meeting that an empty chair in the room represent a ?missing? person."
As the above quote points out, this church is going to track absentees from the small groups and put the name of those absent on empty chairs. This is an attempt to exert peer pressure, which I assume will be effective for some people.

During the member's period of ?Discipleship? and progress up through the ranks, they will be asked to sign covenants, which is not Biblical [Matthew 5:33-37], and they will be given "Spiritual Gift Assessments" (personality profiling).

Any critical evaluation of the programs by members with anyone else is considered gossip and is against the covenant.

Rick Warren of the Saddleback church tells us why this is necessary:

"If you?re helping row the boat, you don?t have time to rock it."

Often as not, the member will be required by a signed covenant to participate in so-called ?accountability? groups. Here, they will confess all their sins to an accountability leader or partner. Is this Biblical? NO, but the "change agent" can justify it with their "new" Bible.

James 5:16

NIV-Therefore CONFESS YOUR SINS to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

NASB-Therefore, CONFESS YOUR SINS to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.

CEV-If you have SINNED, you should TELL EACH OTHER WHAT YOU HAVE DONE. Then you can pray for one another and be healed. The prayer of an innocent person is powerful, and it can help a lot.

These versions support confessions to a priest. Now, look at what the KJV says:

KJV-CONFESS YOUR FAULTS one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

One word here makes a big difference. Faults and sins are not the same. The modern bibles lead me to believe that confession to "man" is required rather than to God and Him alone.

The member will need to join a "Social Ministry" like surfing/skiing/bike riding/quilting, etc. (Saddleback Valley Community Church has over eighty of them). And to answer the question why, here is Rick Warren, the author of the book:

?Relationships are the glue that keep the faithful coming.? (Rick Warren)

If the member is young enough to be part of the "Youth Ministry," then they could participate in Team building exercises, with such activities as "falls of faith," where a participant closes his/her eyes and allows him or herself to fall backwards, only to be caught by the rest of the youth. The point of the exercise is ?trust.? Once again, the trust is shifted - from trust in God, to trust in man. (My son actually told me about this one he did at the "Valley View" church camp, and I understand it's been going on for some time.)

What's the purpose of all this? The purpose is to lock the back door. "Small groups are the most effective way of closing the back door of your church." (Rick Warren)

All these processes may be successful at separating the lambs from the goats, but I seriously doubt that a true Christian should be involved.

I know a member at my former church that told me he couldn't leave if he wanted to. He said, "Think about it-- If my wife, her mother and her father won't leave, how can I? I would be headed for a divorce if I even bring it up!"

Not long ago, a good and Godly man from a large Church of Christ in Texas asked me to pray for him. He told me he had left his church of many years because of the false teaching. He told me that his wife and children stayed behind, and their church friends had told his wife to leave him. Now, that's a heart-tugger there. Do you think God would have anything to do with this process?

No, my friends, this is not God's doing.

Each and every one of these tactics has been used for years by CULTS for CONTROL. Nothing is new here. It's all as old a sin.

Ec 1:10
Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new?
it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
Now, I know it's difficult for you to think of your church as a cult, and I'm not saying it is. But, ask yourself if Jesus Christ would have anything to do with tactics that served the sole purpose of using families and friendships for binding control. When was the word of God not sufficient?

These are the tools of men, not of God!

I was surprised to find listed in the book "The Kingdom of The Cults" by Walter Martin several cults that operate and appear as mainline Christian denominations. These cults have "church buildings" in every major city worldwide. They have over 34 MILLION members in the U.S. alone. They are so wealthy that they own insurance companies, and vast real estate holdings.

Do you think most of these millions of members realize they belong to and are controlled by a cult? The answer is NO.

The ones that do find out the truth can't get out without splitting their families. Some do make the desperate choices, but for most it's too late.

My humble advice to everyone is personal study of the Bible to know God's true doctrine.

Examine the fruits of your church leaders. Don't go by what they SAY, but by what they DO.

Do they appoint themselves as POPES?
Do they operate in secret?
Are they knowledgeable enough to teach scripture as taught?
Are they leading their flock in the ways of God or in the ways of man?
Are they honest? Have they ever misled the congregation?

Ac 20:29
For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

Mt 7:20
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Jer 9:5
And they will deceive every one his neighbor, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.

2Th 2:15
Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

What?s Wrong with the 21st Century Church?

The Kingdom of The Cults by Walter Martin

David Rhoades

I owe an apology to everyone because I have written previously that my former church congregation was headed for a trip to Saddleback.
How wrong I was! The destination is actually more sinister.

The change agents will promote the embracing of other doctrines. This starts out innocent enough. The praise team will visit a different denomination or will use this opportunity to practice their talents, which they haven't revealed to their congregation yet. The change agents will encourage visits to other Churches that are already advanced into the "Community Church Change." These little trips provide the encouragement for them to continue their efforts of bringing "praise teams" or instruments into their congregation. Maybe they will even invite a musical group from another denomination into their Church on a special occasion, which is intended to show their own congregation how "innocent" a little musical worship can be.

The preachers like my former preacher will hold meetings with other denominations about setting aside their differences in doctrinal issues. (1) They will encourage members? trips to participate in groups like "Promise Keepers" (14) or they will start their own "Jubilee". (The Pope had a Jubilee too, you know) There are ulterior motives here that won't be discussed with the Church members.

We Church members are a mixed lot. Most of us think we know what's going on in our own little way. Some of us are so kind and loving that we don't think another Christian would lie and deceive us. Then there are those like me that are so biblically ignorant that we wouldn't know a "Jubilee" from a "tent revival." There are those that knew what was going on, though. There always is. Looking back, you can see them leaving the Church early. I don't mean the big bunch that left when I did, but the trickling of many over several years. They knew! You really can't blame them.
They tried to warn us, but we were really a big dumb lot. We thought they were crazy, or maybe just a little too "radically religious".

Well, this is not another one of my tirades. I'm just trying to explain why you?re not going to believe this story either.

There is a bigger darker picture that's now being drawn. You see, I thought I knew the whole picture originally. I thought everything pointed to "Saddleback" and other similar "Change Agents" in the "Community Church Movement" What's really happening makes "Saddleback", "Willowcreek", and the "Zoe" bunch look like little minions.

Look at what I found on a web page the other day-- These are Catholics that are not happy with the changes taking place within the Catholic Church. Read this--It sounds like something you would read on the site. (3)

Compare ...
Traditional Latin Mass

Atmosphere of Reverent Worship:
Peaceful, otherworldly atmosphere. Emphasis on individual "lifting his heart & mind to God." Members of congregation direct attention to God, not each other.

With ...
Modern Mass at your parish

Social, Classroom, Entertainment Atmosphere:
Constant standing, sitting, amplified noise; atmosphere like a public meeting. Emphasis on "instruction." Socializing in church before & after service, and handshaking during.

My purpose of showing you this is to call your attention to what's happening everywhere! This is not some fad. What's happening to Churches all over the world doesn't have such organized precision unless there are some BIG minions running this. Do the little minions really know whom they are working for? I doubt it.

Here is a word that I did not know the meaning of until just a few short months ago:

Ecumenism, Ecumenical - Remember these words. Unfortunately this won't be the last time you hear them.

Here is what Webster?s says:

Pronunciation: "e-ky&-'me-ni-k&l
Function: adjective
Etymology: Late Latin oecumenicus, from Late Greek oikoumenikos, from Greek oikoumenE the inhabited world, from feminine of oikoumenos, present passive particle of oikein to inhabit, from oikos house -- more at VICINITY Date: circa 1587

1: worldwide or general in extent, influence, or application
2 a: of, relating to, or representing the whole of a body of churches b: promoting or tending toward worldwide Christian unity or cooperation - ec?u?men?i?cal?ly /-k(&-)lE/ adverb

The ecumenical efforts have been at work for a long time right under our noses. Did you smell it? I didn't. We should have because it's right straight from Hell. This is not just an effort to join all Christian Churches, but ALL Churches under one Church, The One World Church.

I used to think it would be impossible for us as Christians not to recognize the "AntiChrist," but, now, I see. There are those today that don't realize that their Church is being changed into the Church of the "Anti-Christ". I was one of these right up until a few short months ago.

Here is a quote from a recent article by the President of Voice of the Martyrs:
"Across America pastors and Christian leaders are allowing representatives of the Islamic faith to freely speak in their pulpits. This happened at Willow Creek Community Church, the largest church in America, where a Muslim man named Faisal Hammouda was allowed to share the pulpit. During the interview with Pastor Hybels, Hammouda claimed: "As a matter of fact, we, all of us...believe in Jesus. I believe in Jesus. I believe in Mohammed and all the prophets. So our mission here is to introduce people to God." He also stated, "We believe in Jesus more than you do, in fact."

It seems that this all started back years ago and Satan has been coaching his minions all the time. I'm only going to take you back to 1948. Your self-study would take you even further back than 1919 and Alice Bailey, Foundress of the Lucifer Trust. (11)

John Foster Dulles, the brother of the CIA director that Kennedy fired, (Alan Dulles) was instrumental in forming the UN after World War II.
He was also instrumental in forming the "World Council of Churches" about the same time.

"At present, there are two great bodies -- the World Council of Churches (W.C.C.) and the National Council of Churches (N.C.C.). The main aim of the Ecumenical Movement is to bring churches of all denominations and cults, and ultimately, all other religious organizations together as One Ecumenical Church or World Church. At the first Ecumenical Assembly held in Amsterdam in 1948, the motto 'ONE WORLD -- ONE CHURCH' was adopted. It is agreed that one of the major issues for the WCC to tackle is the relations between the churches and the organizations of all the other religions and ideologies. With regards to this issue, dialogues are being held among the different religions of the world. The Bible Prophecy of a Super Church is now being fulfilled." (9)

Coming forward into the later part of the 20th century we see a hole host of well known characters furthering ecumenism and pushing it toward it's goals for the year 2000. The Pope with the decrees of Vatican II in 1962 brought the Catholic Church on board the ecumenism movement. Billy Graham was one of the biggest pushers within the protestant Churches. Then you have numerous movements like "Promise Keepers" (14) and new ones forming faster than flies.

It's not my job to scare you. I just have to warn you.

If you are still setting there in the pew...that's okay. I have done my job, now, I'm gone!

P.S. Do you really think you will recognize the Anti-Christ when he arrives?

Building Program - VISION 2000
Who's Vision Is This?

One of the first things the "Change Agents" will do is to propose a big building project.

This will either be a new building or a big re-do of an existing structure. These projects almost always mean new debt for the Church.

Proverbs 22:7
"The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender"

Usually, before such an endeavor begins, the "Change Agents" will hire a high-priced consultant that will come in to study the congregation's members and their income levels. Once they have this information at hand, then the "Change Agents" can determine how big to build their new church.

A building program is one way for the change agents to bring in tithing and commitments from Church members, that have traditionally been giving free-will gifts.

My former Church had a vision prior to 1995 that became known as "Vision 2000." It was the year 1995 that the Church explained its new vision and gave out an expensive notebook signed by the Elders, and containing their vision. On the front of this notebook, it said "Vision 2000." This was the start of an elaborate program of fund raising for the new building improvements and other parts of the "Vision 2000."

I remember getting one of these notebooks. I don't remember anything unusual. It all seemed quite natural at the time. The notebook laid out the new programs for "Vision 2000." They all seemed to me, at the time, honorable things to do.

I thought it would be interesting to go back and review this notebook that I had glanced through back in 1995 to see if anything there looked different to me today--through my new glasses.

On the first page, there is a big headline that says "Our Vision." At the bottom of the first page there is a logo that looks like one from an AT&T statement, and the title "Vision 2000."

The first and last lines of text on this page have this quote "Without vision, the people perish." Is this a quote from scriptures? If it is, it will be the only scripture found in this entire notebook that I have seen. There is no attribution to this quote as coming from the Bible.

With a little investigation, I did find this scripture in Proverbs 29:18, in the King James Bible.
"Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he."

If this quote came from the Bible, then it leaves off the last part of the verse, "but he that keepeth the law, happy is he."

On one of the pages titled "Where Do We Go From Here?" dated May 21, 1995, we are told that "Vision 2000" is the result of 2 years of prayer and planning and the results of a recent survey of the congregation. This must mean that the seed for this vision began 2 years earlier, around 1993.
The survey results of the congregation seem to give the Elders their final determination to "forge ahead."
(1) (See my editorial on Church surveys)

Further down the same page we have this statement:

"Our shepherds have decided that we will complete parts of the vision as money is committed with minimal borrowing. With that in mind, the following goals have been set:"

The goals are laid out depending on the amount raised:

    $3,000,000 to $4,500,000
    $4,500,001 to $6,000,000
    $6,000,001 to $7,000,000
Ultimately, I think about 4.5 to 5 million was raised. The Elders spent about double that figure however, which left the Church some 3 to 4 million in debt.

What happened? Who knows? Mistakes do happen and I'm not here to bash my former Church.

What I do want to warn you about, though, is this:
It seems that new buildings, new Church plants and increased Church debt fits the "Community Church" program. With so much debt, how can the Church's attention be anything mission-related?

Ultimately, after reading over the Church's "Vision 2000", I doubt very seriously that the Congregation was awakened to the entire "Vision 2000" program. My suspicion is that only a very few knew what the real "Vision 2000" was going to be. I read nothing about "praise teams" in that "Vision 2000" notebook, but I have little doubt these were some visions that were being held close to their chest.

Once the doubt sets in as to what "Vision 2000" was really suppose to be, one begins to wonder just what was "Vision 2000". Whose vision was it really?

A simple search on Google will reveal that a lot of people were having "Vision 2000's."

The "World Council of Churches" had a Vision 2000.
The "National council of Churches " had a Vision 2000.
The Vatican had a Vision 2000.
The Methodist had a Vision 2000.
The Church of God had a Vision 2000.
Thousands of Churches were having a Vision 2000!
Putting it in the simplest terms possible, Vision 2000 appears to be "code" for an ECUMENICAL CHARISMATIC program that my expensive notebook and dear Elders failed to tell me anything about.

(1) Trick or Treat - Don't take the survey, It's a Trick

The "Third Worship Service" must be a useful trick in the bag for most "change agents." I have seen it used at my church and, now, have seen it used at others that are experiencing the same problems.

Follow with me as we go back and take a look.

I remember when our preacher announced that our church was going to have a ?Third Worship Service.?

What a marvelous plan, I thought.

Here is the way it was printed in the church's "Vision 2000" presentation:

"Striving to attract those who are intimidated by the dress and formality of our current worship services, a third service is being offered in our Family Life Center. Scriptural in its content, but informal in atmosphere, the third service should help draw a generation of people who have grown up ?unchurched? or are ?disenchanted?."

I think you would agree, on the surface, this seems to be reasonable?

This new service was to be scheduled at about 1:00 in the afternoon. The best I can remember, it was said, at the time, that the afternoon time period would help those who could not make the earlier service.

Well, it turned out that the "unchurched" and ?disenchanted? must not have cared for a 1:00 pm worship service, either. The service was soon closed. I don't remember any further comment on the subject.

Coming forward in time, and after completion of the church's multi-million dollar modernization campaign, it was announced that another 3rd worship service was to be held in Bixler Chapel. This time, though, the time period was going to parallel the 10 AM service.

Well, wouldn't you know it, but the place filled up. I think the capacity was about 400, and 500 wanted in. This would have been great if all these "unchurched" and ?disenchanted? had arrived from the outside. It turned out that my former church had that many disenchanted of its own packing into this little worship center.

Now, to give you a little background, I have been told that the largest single attendance on a Sunday was 6,700 folks at the first two worship services. The attendance during this period, though, is probably around 3,000. That's for both services. The third service certainly was not added for more room.

After about a month or two, one of the "Change Agent" elders made an announcement. He "said" that the fire marshal told the church that the crowd in the Bixler Chapel was too large. (It is useful to note that this particular elder was the former Fire Chief.)

To answer the problem of overcrowding in the small chapel, the elders decided to move the new 10 AM service into the main auditorium with the traditional crowd. At this point, we were told that the 10 AM service would now be known as the "contemporary" service, and the 8 Am service would be the traditional service.

Just like in Egypt of Old, let the dancing to the gods begin!

Through the third service technique these "change agents" have succeeded in introducing a "contemporary" service to my former church, in what seemed to be overnight.

Were we all asleep? Yes, certainly, we were. Was this a sneak attack by the change agents? Yes, it certainly was. Did the change agents lie?
Yes, they lied through omission. We know lying is a sin, what about lying through omission?

If you follow the uses of the third service by the infiltrators you will see different ways to arrive at the same goal. The final goal is to change the church.

Some have used the Saturday night trick. In the case of the Farmers-Branch Church, (1) they already had a praise team, but then the trick was to bring on the musical instruments. The Saturday night service would be used for that.

If, for a minute, you forget about whether God appreciates musical instruments and praise teams or not. Ask yourself if he likes the deceit and lies these "change agents" use on their fellow members? It is then you will understand the real evil in this.

One of the signs of the "church growth movement" is the presence of a "worship leader". What is a worship leader?

First, to understand what is happening, you must know about the World Council of Churches. One of its goals is to bring all Churches, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Wicca, occultist and pagan religions of all sorts together under one umbrella. They don't hide this.

It was determined around 1962 that the best way to accomplish this goal was through a charismatic and contemporary music format. The best way to implement these changes was through a slow and gradual infiltration, which has become known (among other things) as the "church growth movement."

What we see today, with the rise of the "worship leader," is one of the tools that brings about change in the church. Since "music" is the key to make all this happen, then the "worship leader" will also be the "music" leader.

These people think the word of God needs a little help to reach all the "?unchurched? and ?disenchanted." The "worship leader? has also become a big part of their "outreach ministry."

One of the Deacons at my former church asked the Elders about "worship leaders." Now, these men claim not to be working in "lock step" with the "Church Growth movement," but they sure know about "worship leaders," This what they said:

This is a want ad for a "worship leader:" (3)

Job Description: St Matthew?s Lutheran Church is passionate about reaching out to the richly diverse and secular neighbors whom we share the freeway with. We are looking for a Minister of Worship & Celebration (Lay or Ordained) who is wired to empower heart-felt worship using today?s music, multi-media and the arts. We are a grace driven ministry that relies upon team building to reach those who normally would not check out church. We tend to be a bit irreverent. We bring our coffee into worship and do not tend to attract the squeaky clean. We are looking for a leader who knows it?s not about them.

There are magazines and web sites(3) dedicated to the ?worship leader." This has become a big business. Here is an excerpt form a recent article in a "worship leader" magazine telling a little about what they believe:

    The Spoken Voice
    1. Speaking - Psalm 34:1 says, "I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips."
    2. Shouting - Psalm 27:6 says, "Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the Lord."
    3. Singing - Psalm 47:6 says, "Sing praises to God, sing praises to our King, sing praises."

    Our Posture
    1. Bowing - Psalm 95:6 says, "Come let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker."
    2. Standing - Psalm 119:120 says, "My flesh trembles in fear of you; I stand in awe of your laws."
    3. Dancing - Psalm 149:3 says, "Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with tambourine and harp."

    Our Hands
    1. Playing Instruments - Psalm 33:2, 3 says, "Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy."
    2. Clapping - Psalm 47:1 says, "Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy."
    3. Lifting Hands - Psalm 63:4 says, "I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands."

They always give David as their license, but, God tells us in Amos 6:5--Woe to those that act like David:

AMOS 6:5
"That chant to the sound of the viol, and invent to themselves instruments of music, like David;"

You may ask, is a "worship leader" Biblical? In a way, they are. You see God created the first "worship leader".

    Ezekiel 28:13-16
    13. You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on the day you were created.
    14. You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.
    15. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you.
    16. By the abundance of your trading You became filled with violence within, And you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the fiery stones
Note: "tambrels" are tamborines and "pipes" are wind instruments.

It's no wonder that Satan is called the "enchanter." He has been using music from the very beginning to seduce his prey. It started early with the Bablyonian and Egyptian civilizations in which they would dance, clap, sing and play to their gods. The only thing most contemporary Churches are not doing presently is bringing the gods clean cloths everyday.

From the continent of Africa, where Voodoo chants called up the evil spirits to the shores of America , Satan has always been the user of music and the "worship leader" extraordinaire.

    11. Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, And the sound of your stringed instruments; The maggot is spread under you, And worms cover you.
    12. How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!
Let's take a look at how Satan uses others to seduce us with his music:

From Musician Carlos Santana:

Santana admits that his success is tied to a spiritual entity. Santana also claims that he has contact with the spirits of musicians who have died, such as Jimi Hendrix and Miles Davis. Santana has claimed that other artists who participated on his album, Supernatural, were brought to him supernaturally to be a part of Metatron's project. He claimed that they heard his music, or were communicated to in dreams, and were told they were to be part of the project. (1)

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1)

Eminem is the most successful artist of the 21st century. His Marshall Mathers LP sold an incredible 1.76 million copies in its first week, which is the highest first-week sale for a solo artist in history:

" I take seven [kids] from [columbine] and stand 'em all in line. Add an AK-47, a revolver, a nine, a Mac-11 and this ought to solve this problem of mine. And that's a whole school of bullies shot up all of the time, 'cause I'm Shady?"

" I take each individual degenerate's head and reach into it, just to see if he's influenced by me, if he listens to music, and if he feeds into this sh**, he's an innocent victim, and becomes a puppet on the string?"

Rolling Stone admitted:

"A song or an album can change your life; a great concert will change it on the spot."

Tori Amos, who said that Lucifer sits at her piano and helps her with her music, said:

" Music is the most powerful medium in the world because of the frequencies. You're hitting places in people that remind them that they are more than just this functional being."

Science writer and composer, Robert Jourdain, wrote in his book, Music, The Brain And Ecstacy:

" Music seems to be the most immediate of all the arts. ?Music possesses us. ?It really is as if some 'other' has entered not just our bodies, but our intentions, taking us over."

Medical Dr. and brain specialist, Richard Pellegrino, who is a consultant to the entertainment industry, wrote an article for Billboard Magazine , about the power of music. Dr. Pellegrino speaks of the incomparable power of music upon the human brain, stating that music has the uncanny power to:

"? trigger a flood of human emotions and images that have the ability to instantaneously produce very powerful changes in emotional states."

Pellegrino went on to declare:

" Take it from a brain guy. In 25 years of working with the brain, I still cannot affect a person's state of mind the way that one simple song can."

Eminem states in his song, Marshall Mathers:

"I think I was put here to?destroy your little 4-year-old boy or girl."

Frank Zappa, who was quite anti-Christ, said that when he saw a fish on the back of someone's car he identified them as the enemy. He also admitted to the incredible power and influence rock music has over the human race. In an article he wrote for Life Magazine, he stated:

"The ways in which sound affects the human organism are myriad and subtle. The loud sounds and bright lights of today are tremendous indoctrination tools.

AC/DC was up-front with their fans when they made it clear that they not only found their fame in a rock band by Satan's power, but that they desired to drag their listeners into eternal damnation with them, "if God's on the left, I'm on the right?I'm gonna take ya to hell?I'm gonna get'cha-Satan got 'cha, Hell's Bells? If you're into evil, you're a friend of mine."

Michael Jackson:

"When I hit the stage it?s all of a sudden a magic from somewhere that comes and the spirit just hits you, and you lose control of yourself."

"I wake up from dreams and go, ?Wow! Put this down on paper!? The whole thing is strange. You hear the words, everything is right there in front of your face. And you say to yourself, ?I?m sorry, I just didn?t write this. It?s there already?. I feel that somewhere, someplace, it?s all been done, and I?m the courier bringing it into the world."

From these two sites (1)(2) alone I count well over 85 well known and famous music performers in all areas of music, Christian, blues, and Rock N Roll, that profess to be Satanically driven, or use pagan symbolism in their performances.

This list includes people like Robert Johnson-The Father of Blues, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and even Amy Grant!

Dear Lord, please forgive us for what we have brought into your Church.

The process of change is slow; it's designed that way. The communists used the principle to topple entire countries and their values systems.

I remember myself as a 10-year-old during Elvis?s first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. I remember the protest from the church crowd. The TV cameras only showed him from his waist up to avoid his gyrating hips.

If I can remember the thoughts of that 10-year-old boy, I'll try to relay them here: "What's the big deal with some guy playing on a guitar and jumping around on stage?"

That 10-year-old boy had not been taught about the evils of rock-n-roll. He wasn't old enough to know the history of Satan's use of music. History held the key. The old and wise knew, though, but history wasn't being taught.

Now, we have a whole generation of children who have become adults. Unfortunately, we?re not as wise as our forefathers were. We have been brought up on a life without Biblical history. If we had been taught the history, surely we would have not repeated it.

Just 40 years from that first Elvis broadcast, today's television programming is a lustful, carnal extravaganza; it is full of homosexuality and every other person saying "oh my god".

It's been a gradual process. In fact, so gradual most don't even know that we have gone from a country whose laws were founded on Biblical teaching to a country that has all but banned Biblical teaching.

To most, the process of change seems to be a natural progression, but for those of us who have found out, we know it's all been planned with great deceit.

The purpose of this part is to list the start and progression of recognizable premeditated changes within the church that leads to changing the church to a "Global Church".

Projection Screens

They are truly one of the great innovations for the church. That must have been what I thought the first time my former church had a projection screen. Initially, its use is to put the words of the songs from the songbooks on the screen.

Little did we know, eventually, the real reasons for the screen would be to change the songs of the church and add a video and entertainment medium.

Then one Sunday you arrive to find a slow moving screen saver illustration on the video screen while music is playing in the background.

The last Sunday I attended with my former congregation, the preacher was using the screen to project a canned sermon on "corporate worship".

Surely, one of the oldest uses of drama is during vacation Bible school. There may be a valid use of drama during vacation Bible school. However, when it eventually finds it way into regular Sunday morning Sunday school classes to replace biblical teachings--then it has gone too far.

One way to tell if your church has gone all the way to drama, in place of teaching the Bible is by visiting your child?s Sunday school class. See if they are using plays instead of teaching The Word. Of course, if the preacher is riding his microphone stand like "Hop-A-Long Cassidy," has himself hand-cuffed to the pulpit, or likes to run and slide, then you will know it has made its way out of your child's Sunday school.

Have you ever yawned and found that the cause was someone yawning around you? It is quite normal behavior and experienced by many. Now consider that the person yawning is doing it on purpose to get you to yawn. This would be a contrived act to elicit predetermined results of those people around the yawner.

The parallel I draw could be similar to sitting in church and the people close to you start clapping. Without thought, those around the clappers start clapping, too. This is not far-fetched, but actually what happens in today's churches.

It usually starts with a small group that has contrived to clap. First, they will do it for something innocuous like a guest speaker, then the next thing you know they will do it after a Baptism. Before long, it spreads to others who perceive it as what they should do.

If it's not stopped immediately by knowledgeable Elders, then it's probably going to be too late. It will have spread through to all members.

Let me say here that I don't condemn the act of clapping in itself. I don't even condemn the act as a group. if that group chose to meet and clap. What I condemn is the contrived act of doing this during worship and in a church that traditionally had not done it, and with the expressed purpose of changing the church.

The trip toward "Praise Teams" and "musical instruments" is relative to where the church currently is. Many churches within the denominations have been using choirs, pianos, and organs for some time. Their move toward instruments tends to be a modernization toward guitars, drums, and electronic keyboards.

More conservative churches, like the Church of Christ, who haven't had instruments of any kind, tend to start with "praise teams" as their experiment into the world of "Holy Entertainment.' I think history shows that "praise teams" are most always followed with 'musical instruments," at some point. The Elders use careful language as their trip proceeds. Usually, their statements are something like: "It's not our intent" to have musical instruments. This leaves them wide girth to escape responsibility for future events.

In closing, remember these things take place gradually over a long period of time (sometimes 10 years or longer). The idea is to move slowly, so you become comfortable along the way. By the time some of these things take place, you will have long forgotten about reading this article.

Church Surveys From The New World Order

David Rhoades 2003.10.03

Honest surveys are useful tools. Dishonest surveys are tricks.

1. If a surveyor truly wanted to know what your favorite colors were, Then they might ask;
What are you favorite colors? _____________, _______________, _______________,

2. If the surveyor already knew what colors were going to be used for a project, but they wanted it to appear that your input would be useful, then they would ask;
Which of these are your favorite colors [ ] yellow [ ] green [ ] both (check all that apply)

In the first survey, the surveyor truly wanted to know your opinion. In the second, they really did not care about your opinion.

In the second survey, the results were already determined. The surveyor just wanted you to ?think? you had some input.

Should you ever complain about the "colors," then the surveyor will say:
?We sent out a survey and everyone that responded chose yellow, green, or both as their favorite colors.?

?Why are you complaining? You must be a trouble maker!?

This is an over simplified version of what is happening today in churches, schools, and government organizations to push you toward the "New World Order"? whether you like it or not.

The trick survey is derived from the "Hegelian Dialectic," a technique developed by an 18th century German philosopher named; Hegel, George Wilhelm Friedrich, 1770-1831. His work would later influence Karl Marx. (2)

Since its creation it has been used to opinionate the masses. It has been studied, varied, and renamed numerous times. The results have always been the same: To herd you into a belief that you think is your own, but, in actuality, you have been tricked into.

The Rand Corporation used a varied version called the Delphi Technique in the 1960?s which allowed the government to trick you into land use and zoning restrictions.

Some local school boards have used this technique to manipulate entire groups of concerned parents.

Church leaders are using this technique today to push entire congregations toward the "New World Order" (3) through the "Church Growth Movement."

The original technique took trained facilitators to manipulate groups of people. The latest use of surveys is just the new, easy way to use the same technique.

Now, some surveys only pretend to want your opinion. I received a pre-printed list from my son's school laying out what they called a "statement of purpose." Most of these 20 statements sounded reasonable. The problem was they were all worded so that you couldn't really tell what they were saying.

Among the list I picked up on the phrase "Unity and Diversity." In essence they were telling me that my children were going to be indoctrinated into the worldly things, among which will be the acceptance of homosexuality. I might point out that this was not clearly stated at all. If I had not studied this subject matter, then this whole list would have passed right over my head.

At the bottom of the form, there were 5 blanks, so that I might add any suggestions. This was simply for me to believe that I had some input.

This entire list was already copyrighted by some company in Illinois. Now, you may ask why would a local school adopt a copyrighted list of "statements" that plainly stated I had no right to even copy and use this statement for any purpose?

The schools are being pushed toward "Goals 2000," a federal program to push the schools in the "New World Order." There are companies already selling the tools, which is where I assume this "statement list" from my son's school was derived. The same push will be on in the churches once the government?s "Faith Based Initiative" gets going.

For those of you that find all of this a little hard to believe, you just haven't been paying attention. U.S. Senator Barry Goldwater in his 1964 book "With No Apologies" said: ?This is a "coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power political, monetary, intellectual and ecclesiastical. As managers and creators of the system ,they will rule the future." (1)

If your church has developed a mission statement that they claim came about from a church survey, ask yourself why it's so similar to mission statements of other churches. Notice that they all speak of "Unity in Diversity."

"Celebrate the UNITY and DIVERSITY of the Body of Christ."

"Visible oneness, by which a DIVERSITY of persons, gifts, and understanding is brought together, is an important sign of the UNITY of God's people ..."

" UNITY is possible and DIVERSITY is celebrated because the Church is the very Body of Christ."

" We celebrate our unity in diversity; in word and deed."

""We believe that there can be unity in diversity and will continue to employ two styles of worship services."

This list of church mission statements could cover literally thousands of pages, all with the same "unity in diversity" theme.

Rather than coming from a church survey, the term "Unity and Diversity" originates from the "New World Order" theme pushed by the U.N.

Here, Let Henry Kissinger tell you about it:

"My country's history, Mr. President, tells us that it is possible to fashion UNITY while cherishing DIVERSITY, that common action is possible despite the variety of races, interests, and beliefs we see here in this chamber. Progress and peace and justice are attainable. So, we say to all peoples and governments:

Let us fashion together a new world order." (1)

-- Henry Kissinger, in address before the General Assembly of the United Nations, October 1975)

We have written many times about what the Bible says about oaths and covenants. (1) Our mission today is to take a brief look at the fruits of those that would have us sign such covenants. And after all, by signing a covenant, the membership is making their pledges subject to the judgement of the Elders or church.

We are not judging their souls but their fruits, and we are commanded to do so. (KJV) Mt 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

The last sign of a successful takeover by the "change agents" is a covenant. The covenant is an oath you are required to sign to be a church member.

It's certainly ironic that these "change agents" want to subject their membership to covenants that they themselves did not abide by when they changed the church.

When one takes a look at one of the main elements of a covenant proposed by an Elder at my former church;

1. "If at some time in the future, I find myself irreversibly out of harmony with the fundamental doctrines and essential practices of ....................., I will not be a source of strife and division, but will peacefully leave the fellowship."

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that the Elder (or Elders) that proposed this covenant, were themselves in violation of the main element of this covenant. They had to violate their own main element to now find themselves heading up a change within their own church , and in charge of the property, after driving off most of the founding members.

It takes two to tango, and regardless of the Biblical ignorance it takes to formulate such a document, it takes an equal amount to sign it.

Beware that a church covenant is not Biblical, and it's appearance within a church should be a warning sign.

If you desire to study the Biblical references to oaths and covenants, I think you will find the below references helpful. (1)

I am anxious to conclude all the parts of this article with the conclusion below.

Although it saddens me to tell you about the current state of affairs within the church of our Lord, I am grateful to God that I have been given the opportunity to have seen with my eyes and to have heard with my ears many things I had previously been blind to.

I have found the problems many. We are no longer have a generation eager to study the Bible. We are lazy, self indulged, and open to any doctrine that sounds good, and is pleasing. We have lost our history, and have let it be stolen from us. We no longer know the Biblical reasons that has driven previous Christians.

When you realize that there is an organized evil that is working it's contrived plan against us 24 hours a day, the results of this struggle seem almost inevitable.

Many of us Christians think will be dead before we have to confess our faith before the chopping block. How could any of us even wonder what our reply would be to, "Are you a Christian?" if our life depended on it? Well, wonder no more. If we are not willing to stand up now and put our name on it, how could we ever stand up then.

We haven't given Satan enough credit, therefore we haven't given enough to God either. Oh, we claim to believe in Satan, but if we really did, we would be actively looking for ways he has tricked us.

We would be actively discerning the truth.

The truth coming from our pulpits.

The truth about the history of our Bible.

The truth in all matters!

We are no longer seekers of the truth, and many among us will even deny it..

I know these things, for I have been guilty.
