In my April 23rd article, Gathering or Scattering, I briefly addressed the "nation-building" efforts of Rick Warren's Global Peace Plan.
In fact, The Baptist Press just released his latest article on the subject which illustrates perfectly the Christianized Humanism he teaches. It is titled:
The Church - The Greatest Force On Earth
Funny, I thought God's Holy Spirit was the Greatest Force on Earth. Didn't know that it was really The Bride of Christ. This is the group version of Robert Schuller's self-esteem gospel at work. As you read Warren's article, notice how he credits the church's strengths, qualifications and attributes in a pride-filled motivational essay. ("largest, widest, longest, fastest, highest, strongest, simplest") rather than Glorifying God, His Word, His Power and His strength through the weaknesses of humble, repentant and obedient men.
Anyway, I also commented on the same type of Dominionist claims from World Net Daily columnist Jim Rutz in a later piece entitled:

Now, Sarah Leslie, of Discernment Ministries [ http://www.discernment-ministries.org ] has put together an exceptional overview of the Dominionist Movement; an important segment of the Church Growth Movement that encompasses both the Left, the Right and those in between to build a Kingdom on Earth FOR "GOD".
If you are a member of a mainstream denomination, in all probability, this is already at work, to one degree or another, in your church.
I am enthusiastically recommending this article, her Website and her Blog Site to all of my Readers. Those who mistakenly think the CGM is just a perversion of Biblical truth from the Liberal Left only NEED TO READ THIS CAREFULLY and reconsider that false assumption. Satan is much smarter than that. The Dialectic always needs opposing forces to foment a facilitated solution out of a coordinated conflict, compromise and consensus.

Dominionism and The Rise Of Christian Imperialism
Also, Sarah Leslie has commented on her Blog about the recent Dominionst failings of Jabez author, Bruce Wilkinson, as reported on the front page of The Wall Street Journal. He and Rick Warren have both initiated similar nation-building programs in Africa. Wilkinson's efforts have now backfired, leading to a misrable and much heralded defeat.
Maybe Pastor Warren will get a clue.

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the sin that will never be pardoned. (Matthew 12:31, 32) According to Matthew 12, this blasphemy is the deliberate attribution to Satan of the Holy Spirit's work in Christ (vv. 22-28). It is not a sin which can be committed by justified people and is, therefore, to be carefully distinguished from the "sin unto death" (1 John 5:16), which Christians may commit. This latter sin leads to physical death and is a divine chastisement, the end of which is the escape of the believer's soul from condemnation along with the wicked (1 Cor 11:30-32)

Spirit-Led or Purpose-Driven? Part 4
Dealing with Resisters

1. Identify resisters.
2. Assess resisters and determine the degree of resistance. Negative or uncompromising attitudes will be tracked using the sophisticated data systems that monitor each member.
3. Befriend, involve and persuade borderline resisters. Participation in small group dialogues may encourage borderline resisters to trade their traditional convictions for a more permissive fellowship.
4. Marginalize more persistent resisters. They obstruct progress and undermine the needed unity, momentum and passion for change. That's why pastors often suggest to "divisive" members that they might be happier elsewhere.
5. Vilify those who "stay and fight." At this stage, negative labels, accusations and slander are permitted, if not encouraged, to circulate.
6. Establish rules, regulations, laws and principles that silence, punish or drive out resisters. At Saddleback, every new member must sign a "Membership Covenant." It includes this innocuous promise:

Radio host and commentator, Ingrid Schlueter, recently upgraded her site and moved it to a new address. This is one of those rare places you can visit every day, even many times a day and always see something new, relevant, interesting and informative. She is a very knowledgeable woman of integrity and conviction who knows the Lord and is not afraid to speak from His Word.

Had demanded that school inform him and allow child to opt-out; superintendent refused.
Father brought to court Thursday in handcuffs, scolded by judge. Had been refused opportunity to call a lawyer, so did not have legal counsel at hearing!!
