Rick Warren Admits to Being a CFR Member
In this shocking article, Pastor Rick Warren, author of "The Purpose Driven Life" admits to World Net Daily founder, Joseph Farah, that he has high connections at the White House with President Bush and his generals -- also revealing that he is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (often referred to as the "shadow government" that is said to govern much of America's policies). Warren's membership in the CFR gives a whole new meaning to his Plan For Peace (see 1 Thessalonians 5:3). It is important to remember that the New World Order will be composed of both a world government and a world religion. As such, religious leaders play a key role in bringing this about. Nevertheless, we sincerely hope that Rick Warren is simply decieved about these things, and has no intent to deceive others.

During a session titled "Dealing with Opposition", Mr. Clyde recommended that the pastor speak to critical members, then help them leave if they don't stop objecting. In a rare radio interview I did near the first of this year, the host began by asking me what I thought the was most important article I had written over the past year (2005). After careful consideration, I concluded that it was probably a July piece entitled: "THE TEST OF FAITH," because it gets to the very heart of the Apostasy we are witnessing in the church today and shows its connection to the Garden of Eden.
In it I said this:
"...after five years (now 6) of researching, writing and personally struggling through this 21st century phenomena that seems to have as many labels as it does leaders, I have come to the conclusion that there are basically two things that drive it all; and believe it or not, they are the same two things that brought about the very fall of man back in the Garden of Eden. I call them "The Two R's".

A reader contacted me yesterday telling of how her church has not only gone the way of the CGM but has, in the process, all but abandoned her and her disabled husband. Though she asked me for help in the form of additional information on the church growth movement, as many of YOU have, she DID NOT ask for anything more, but only shared with me their numerous difficulties as they related to her church's tragic transformation into the Purpose Driven paradigm.

A reader contacted me yesterday telling of how her church has not only gone the way of the CGM but has, in the process, all but abandoned her and her disabled husband. Though she asked me for help in the form of additional information on the church growth movement, as many of YOU have, she DID NOT ask for anything more, but only shared with me their numerous difficulties as they related to her church's tragic transformation into the Purpose Driven paradigm.

WHERE IS THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT HIDING THESE DAYS?

Are big changes taking place in your church? Has the expository preaching of the Word of God been replaced by lectures in "Psychology 101"? Have the messages from the pulpit been so permeated with "tolerance" that sin is no longer identifiable? Has the emphasis of reaching the lost for Christ been replaced by the mantra bringing in the unchurched? Does the pastor use so many translations of the Bible that you are no longer sure what the Bible actually teaches? Have the hymnals been trashed in favor of the overhead projector? Has the choir been supplanted by a contemporary "praise band"? Has the direction of the Holy Spirit on the service been replaced by "40 Day" campaigns? Has your church mushroomed in size with throngs of people that have no idea of what they believe? If the answer to the majority of these questions is "yes", your
church is falling victim to Outcome-Based Religion.
EMERGING "CHRISTIANITY"
FROM GNOSTIC ROOTS TO OCCULT REVIVAL

Let's summarize his main points, then compare them with some occult systems formerly hidden in secret societies:
1. Biblical beliefs are out. They are irrelevant -- to be discarded as mere "clutter in the brain."

3. There is no objective reality or absolute truth.
4. A "higher form of knowing" would be based on mystical experience, intuition and self-knowledge. The latter supposedly leads to union with a universal god.
