We have gone through the mail received, and through messages posted at ConcernedMembers.com and attempted to pick out what could be called the "Letters of Evil and Good "In sorting through the letters we used as our guide, letters that we believe Jesus Himself would have approved, and those that could have been written by the master of lies, distortion, and deceit.
You decide if there is a difference and which are evil and which good!

RESPONSE TO A POSTING BY AN ELDER FROM LAWNDALE CHURCH OF CHRIST
If you are an elder in another congregation I suggest you stick to solving the problem you have there. When you get everything straight there and the elders of another congregation invites you, then and only then do I suggest you stick your nose in the affairs of another congregation.Besides, our elders have a good group of deacons who are very well equipped to give them all the advice they will ever need.
IN RESPONSE TO DAVID HESTER A MINISTER AT MANCHESTER CHURCH OF CHRIST
I am more and more perplexed by the people who run this site. First they condemned the elders for asking someone to come in and assist in a reconcilation process. Some said, "Why should we ask some outsider for help?" And now every "expert critic" in the brotherhood is putting in his two cents worth. You seem to know all about these congregations that I doubt you have ever gone to personally and sat down with the elders and found out "first hand" what is going on. I've been around long enough to know you can't trust second hand information, even among church members. Brother if congregational automny means anything, it means that you have no business sticking your nose in the affairs of another congregation. We have had plenty of brotherhood watchdogs in the past and for the most part they have only added to the confusion. If someone in the brotherhood wasn't doing something that they could criticize, they would have to do some real study and get up some real sermons.
If your present book sells, perhaps you can find enough dirt to write another one. I guess there will always be a market for a certain amount of that. When you write something positive let us know and we might be interested.
So, you are going to Manchester. The "New Left" had better take cover, I'm sure your guns are loaded and anyone who dares "raise their hands" or "clap" during a song will find no place to hide from your wrath. If you are successful in Manchester, you can probably write a book on how you did it, and sell it in Texas and California.
